SKILLS FOR WORK™

Our challenging Skills for Work™ course aims to help young talent understand, develop, and apply their unique combination of character strengths at work and attain peak performance and wellbeing.

FOR AGES 18 – 26 | DURATION 6 DAYS

USING CHARACTER STRENGTHS AT WORK

Our Skills for Work™ programme targets young people in their early years of employment and helps them to recognise and apply their unique combination of character strengths at work.

Combining an extended adventurous journey in the outdoors with a series of facilitated problem-solving activities takes young people out of their comfort zones and into a challenging learning environment.

They learn how to use their character strengths to reach their goals, find greater productivity and engagement at work, and more happiness and balance in life.

Next Generation 2

learning outcomes

We help young people to identify, develop and apply their character strengths at work

In our unique Skills for Work™ course, young workers learn to tap into the power of their character strengths – such as perseverance, optimism, creativity, judgement and fairness, and more – to build self-confidence, boost a positive work attitude, and cope with the inevitable stress of work and the workplace.

They will also find out how to spot strengths in those around them, such as colleagues, clients and managers.

Finally, they discover how their character strengths can help bolster their work engagement, enhance positive and healthy working relationships, give their life greater meaning, increase their performance, and improve their health and wellbeing.
